Blog Revamped!
Finally after being away for lengthy time, it’s time for a new change! Papers, scribbles and illustrations are my inspirations lately and it has somehow influenced on my blog. I am going to backtrack on the couple months I’ve been away but not right now, probably later in the day or tomorrow or somewhen soon. For now I’m going to read my novel (I’ve been reading too many novels lately! I’ll share some with you later) and probably take a short nap after. Will be back. Loves.

TTSH A&E.
I was admitted to Tan Tock Seng Hospital Emergency Department four days ago about 5am odd, for breathing difficulty and chest numbness/discomfy. I was deep in anxiety and almost in fear because by then I could hardly feel my limbs. But with very much thanks to my attending doctor’s (Doctor Huang Kuang-Hsin) caring nature, in ways less a doctor more of a friend, I managed to calm myself down and hyperventilation ceased. At some point of time during consultation, I kind of babbled nonsense in my blurry daze and he must have gotten a little impatient with me. Oops. Well, I wasn’t really making sense then and I was going on and on. ;p
I went through a series of tests (ECG, Heart, Blood, Lungs X-Ray and Blood pressure etc) (the blood test felt like a painful eternity) and was told that everything is good and assured that I’m healthy. My BP was on the low side though, and I had to put on drips for what seemed like hours. After multiple re-checking on my BP, I was finally discharged about 8am or 9am, with the stubborn giddy spells refusing to go away. The spells stayed with me for at least another 24 hours, and later on comes on and off but nothing too serious.
At least now I know I am in a good health condition, as proven by medical tests. I’m glad that’s all over now, hopefully none of those episodes comes back again. (;
To express thanks to my attending doctor, I personally drew him a card two days after discharge, with a little note attached. Which by now, I am starting to think if it’s too bizarre a thing to do because it’s something (nor anything close) I thought I’d never do in my life! Besides, I wasn’t really in life and death matter.. Don’t start laughing at me. But really, really, I hope the card reached him and that my effort is appreciated.
The little drawn card and written note for my attending doctor. Ain’t I being silly?

My Past Random Photography.
Alright, relaxation days are over. I am now actively looking for a full/part time, preferably along the arts line. Any offers?
The good thing about freelancing is, it pays much better than a full time. Considering the fact that when you are tied down by a company, you get a monthly fixed salary no matter how many projects you were requested (or commanded) to take on, and with no benefits for working over-time. Freelance feeds me fine yes, and it provides me the freedom that most of us desire. No boring routine of wake-prepare-work-lunch-home, all in fixed time, abhorrently on a daily basis.
But. The problem is, projects don’t usually come constantly in consistence. Either they come flooding at one point of time, or the next, none at all. And when they flood, you have no time no brain juice no hands to handle, you had to give up some, in reluctance. Comes the time when you are free enough, projects don’t exist. And this is the only reason why I had no choice but to go back to hell, I mean, a full time. I miss my regular retail therapy.
As I was sorting out my poor archives of photography for portfolio, I came across some which I personally took and kind of like, although they ain’t really anything. I’m posting them up anyway. (;

iPhone 3GS VS. 3G.
I am now the proud owner of my little new toy, iPhone 3GS. (;
So I heard about how smooth and fast and brilliant iPhone 3GS is, but I had my doubts. Until I finally got my hands on it.
IMAGE : First of all, what difference would it make with just an additional 1.2MP and Auto Focus do to what used to be a pathetic 2MP VGA camera? I was terribly satiated with iPhone 3G’s camera ‘cus it wasn’t even close to a fairly-okay, in fact it kind of sucked.
But just let me show you.

VIDEO : 3G has no video recording function but as a lover of the bad side, I had Cycorder in my jailbroken 3G. I wasn’t anticipating as I tried out the new function in 3GS, and although it turned out to be nothing really close to fantastic, I didn’t expect it to be so prominently better. Video recording is smoother, brighter and much sharper. I tested with both on the same amount of lighting, and on motion intentionally. As you can tell from the two videos below in comparison, 3G jerks a lot. Colours was somewhat off and image has too much noise.

SPEED : I am a very very impatient cow, and I really hate to use things that are slow. 3G’s highest available memory I ever had was merely 30+MB, and I thought that was quite acceptable! Not until I experienced 3GS, with a satisfied memory of 169MB or more. Applications pop up, instead of the ever slow loading. Enough said. (;
iPhone 3GS Jailbroken.
Only about a couple hours after I collected my phone, I had it jailbroken. Pureness is nice, and I would very much love to enjoy it, but frankly.. it was distasteful. Especially not after I created my very own iPhone theme only about a week or two before. What’s more, once you had your phone jailbroken, you’ll never get used to living without it. You have to agree with me.
There isn’t much difference to my 3GS theme but if you look closely enough, my homepage was slightly re-arranged because Cycorder was no longer needed and nicely replaced with WordPress. And if you haven’t already noticed, there is the missing cute little small icons at the corner of my SMS bubbles. I very very intelligently backed up all of my old data, and not my SMS theme. I had to do it all over! … Good job.
